The Clarendonias - This is my history

Formado em 1965 por Fitzroy Ernest Wilson e Peter Austin, onde mais além veio a se tornar um trio junto de Freddie McGregor então com apenas sete anos de idade, freddie era tão pequeno que precisava subir em cima de uma caixa de madeira para alcançar o microfone.

The Clarendonians tornou-se um dos mais bem sucedidos trios vocais de early regage e rocksteady da Jamaica, seus fáci sucesso deu se devido ao fato terem origem humilde cantando sobre garotas e cotidianos nos guetos jamaicanos.

Coxsone Dodd ficou encantado e os levou para sua famosa gravdora, Studio One. Lancaram singles de sucesso como "You can not keep a man Cool Down ", "She is doing Be" e "You can not be happy".
